Maico's works 125cc Grand Prix racer, built mainly to test the factory's racing potential in the smallest world championship class. Swede Borje Jansson used it to win Maico's first GP victories in 1972 after podium finishes in the previous two seasons. Rotary-disc induction and a six-speed gearbox gave it competitive pace against better-funded rivals.
